Bangkok Airways organizes Youth Art Camp in Sukhothai

Bangkok / 7 October 2016  - Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, led by Ms. Tresarun Sitakalin, Vice President - Corporate Secretary, has organized the "Bangkok Airways Youth Art Camp", to emphasize and expand on the beautiful local culture and the arts. The event is attended by the famous Yaya-Urassaya Sperbund and over 50 students and teachers from local schools

Ms. Tresarun Sitakalin, Vice President - Corporate Secretary of Bangkok Airways stated that, "Bangkok Airways is well aware how important it is to conserve and expand the artwork and cultural heritage of the region, especially the local art that shapes the community identity. We have therefore organized the "Bangkok Airways Art Camp." The event not only aims to encourage local youth to conserve the community uniqueness, together with its invaluable arts and culture , but it also promotes the love of the arts and a sense of belonging among the local youth in Sukothai province. We hope that this social activity will help the children to learn the local arts and develop their skills to further preserve the ancient Sukhothai art traditions and culture."

"To help build a stronger community around Sukhothai Airport, Bangkok Airways has offered several reach-out activities with the community and local children around Sukhothai Airport, such as English Club activity, Planting of Ivory Coast Almond trees, and environmental activities with the Royal Irrigation Department to name a few." added Ms. Tresarun.
